HOW TO REACH US:
Exit the A4 motorway at Bergamo and follow signs to the Valle Seriana and then Valbondione (approx. 50Km from Bergamo). On arrival at Valbondione, pass the church and park your car either in the car park by the sports centre (Palazzetto dello Sport) or in the area known as Grumetti. From here follow the tarmac road to the start of the dirt track (CAI footpath number 305).
The track initially weaves through a beautiful pine forest, but eventually emerges at altitude to reveal lower vegetation.
The last part of the walk follows the track around a spectacular in-cut into the mountain on a cliff edge. Alternatively, once you have reached approx. 1600m.a.s.l. (about 1h 45min from the start of your walk) instead of following the dirt track, you can take a separate more challenging footpath that follows a crevice; chains are present to help your ascent.
