"WHERE NATURE IS AT HOME"
The Curò refuge , located at 1915 meters, was the second refuge to be inaugurated by the CAI of Bergamo in 1886, after that of Cà Brunona. The name
derives from the eng. Antonio Curò then president of the CAI of Bergamo. In 1973 on a project by geom. Luigi Locatelli was built a second one currently used.
NEW REFUGE The refuge has 92 beds distributed in rooms of 4 - 6 - 8 - 10 - 12 people with the possibility of booking the entire room (with n. Of beds just over the number of people occupying the room) with a supplement of € 2.00 per person, bar, two dining rooms, conversation room with fireplace and shared bathrooms. We also have n. 2 coin operated showers for € 3.00, € 1.00 shower towels and disposable bed bags € 3.00.
Our cook will delight you with typical dishes, cheeses, cold cuts and homemade desserts, all accompanied by a careful selection of wines.

HOW TO GET THERE:
from the A4 motorway exit, take the Valle Seriana state road and follow signs for Valbondione (about 50 km from Bergamo). Once in the village of Valbondione, go past the parish church and leave the car in the parking lot near the Sports Hall or in the Grumetti area. From here, after a short stretch of paved municipal road, take the mule track (trail sign CAI no. 305) which winds through wonderful beech and fir woods for its first part and then continues into a large area where the forest gives way to a lower vegetation. The mule track ends with a spectacular rock carving overhanging the valley below. Arrived at about 1600 mt. (1h and 45 minutes from the departure approximately) it is possible, instead of continuing on the mule track, to go up the so-called drain,
